Keeping Busy.....

It's been a busy couple of weeks around our house. Our biggest project has been our front yard landscaping. It's not quite done, but if the weather cooperates with us, it will be done by Sunday evening! I'm so excited to cross that off of my list. I'll be sure to post before and after pictures.
In the meantime, here's what has been occupying our family:

Baseball Games
Brother Bonding
Hanging With Cousin William
Eating Birthday Cake & Ice Cream With Grandpa Jon
Hanging With Cousin Jack
Planting His Tree With Grandpa
Eating Dinner With "The Boys"

Class Field Trip To The Zoo

First Game of the Season....

Tonight was the first baseball game of the season. Here's big #3 getting ready for his turn to bat. Keeping his eye on the ball......
Check out the form.....
The game was a 26-26 tie. Imagine that! Every kid bats, you don't count outs. Matter of fact, if you get out, you get to stay on base. No hard feelings for 5-6 year-olds! That's how we like it.
Little man wasn't so interested in watching the game. He had better things to do. Like mackin' on the ladies.

And, He's Sick AGAIN!!!!!!

My poor little baby just can't catch a break. He started coughing a little on Saturday, more on Sunday and then the nasty nose kicked in with a bunch of crabbiness thrown in the mix. Fun.
So, off to the doctor we went on Wednesday. Thankfully his ears are fine however, there is some crackling in his left lung which could possibly be pneumonia. Fun.
The nebulizer has been dragged out of the closet and the amoxicillin has found it's way back into our fridge. Fun.
As of this morning, he seems to be back to his goofy, hungry little self so to that I say Thank You Albuterol and Amoxicillin.

Normal?........

At our house, projects don't get completed quickly.
For example, Mike put our new flooring in over a weekend in November. This flooring is to extend into our laundry room. It's now May. Six months and it's not yet done.
We planned on redoing our landscaping in the front yard and around the basement walkout area. That was last spring. Last summer, we ripped out the existing landscaping and here we are, almost one year later and the landscaping has yet to get started.
Please tell me that are are a few of you like us out there!!

We are "planning" to go and purchase our first items for our front yard landscaping on Mother's day. Hoping we can at least get the edging in before 2020!
