Every year around November, Colton begs me to let him grow his hair out and every year I tell him he can grow it out after Christmas when there are no family pictures to be had. The kid hasn't had his hair cut since December. It was getting to be a bit unruly, so I told him it was time. He lucked out a few times when the wait was too long at Great Clips or I just simply forgot until I was tucking him into bed. But yesterday, it was go time.
I told him if he let me take a before and after picture (allowing me to take any picture of him is a huge success) I would post it on my blog for readers to "vote" on which look was a better look.
Here he is before haircut:and here he is post haircut:

I am so with you on the shorter hair. I think it looks great. He's getting to look so much older. Kinda sad, huh??
I am so not with you. I am so all over the long hair!! I love it!!! (I do have two boys with #1's) right now, so I get it...and a hubby who has VERY strong opinions on boys haircuts. But if I had my way, I'd let them be all punked out and long!! Viva la hair!
:o) Make sure to tell Colton I said that too, k??
am i the tie-breaker on this? i say ... SHORT. :) sure, they look cute no matter what, but something about a little boy with a fresh hair cut - i love! :)
I like it high and tight... if Ty's hair ever got that long it would be gone in the middle of the night. (ha) I am so a fan of SHORT SHORT SHORT! :)
he looks so grown up with short hair. I bet the girls like it better too! :)
he did tell me that everybody was touching his hair at school the following day "even the girls." ;)
